Everybody loves pizza right? Here’s how I made a really quick pizza.
Step one.
Roll out some pizza dough on a pizza pan. I didn’t want to make the dough so I just used a store bought thin crust dough in one of those pop canister things. The instructions said to bake it for 6 minutes before adding anything to it so that’s what I did.
Step two.
Time to pile on the ingredients. The first thing that went on was some homemade pizza sauce. Next was a layer of Italian five cheese blend from Kraft. When I was done with the cheese on went some pepperoni slices that my friends at Schneider Farms make. I followed that up with two different kinds of sausage. I used pork sausage from Schneider Farms and the other sausage was Johnsonville’s mild Italian sausage. Here’s what it looked like before it hit the oven.
Step three.
Make sure your oven is preheated to 400 degrees. Place your pizza on the center rack. In about twenty minutes the cheese should be getting that nice golden brown color. Cook it a bit less or a bit more to your own taste. That’s all there is to it! Now don’t laugh too hard at my odd shaped pizza. It might look a lil discombobulated but it tasted oh so good.
You can get the pepperoni and pork sausage I used from Schneider Farms or right here at Maelstrom’s Farm. Everything else can be purchased at your local grocery store.
Until next time… enjoy your pizza!
